Metamorphosis

It seemed obvious when given the title 'Nature in Glass' to make flowers, but I am interested in the energy aspect of the title. Everything is energy and energy doesn't die, it morphs into something else. I love the fact that the sand becomes the glass and that it transitions under heat into handmade glass, blossoming into life as art through the flowers. I also love the fact that sand can transform the glass by sandblasting it to change its appearance to create beauty. One of nature's very own wonders.
